The Laws of Life: The Law of Intuition
A composer sits quietly at the piano and proceeds to play a melody that he has never heard and writes a beautiful song. A poet picks up her pen and begins to write without thinking and when she finishes there has come into existence a beautiful original poem. A scientist is sitting in his laboratory and has been studying cures for diseases; while he is there a formula for a cure pop into his mind, he tests it and it works perfectly. A mother is at home when she is suddenly moved to pray for her daughter, and minutes later discovers that her child survived a dangerous auto accident and walks out unharmed at the precise time she was moved to pray. The Law of Intuition
Use of the Law of Intuition involves maturing in your life to the point of recognizing when you are receiving valuable information outside of your five senses, acting on it, and benefiting because of it. As a gift to all human beings, we are born with the potential to communicate beyond our senses, but because few understand it, not as many people benefit from it as could.
· First, we must work on clearing out the clutter and chaos within our hearts, minds, and emotions. When the storms of life are raging within us, our intuition is blocked by the noise. Simply taking time to breathe while consciously counting our breaths can shift the energy of these inner storms that many are tormented with their whole lives. Mediation, thanksgiving, prayer, and/or worship can work wonders once we decelerate the storm.
· Next, we must learn to trust our own hearts. Our intuition will not steer us wrong; it can bless us, help us, and even save our lives. Think about this: How many times did you act on knowledge that you didn’t know intellectually? You avoided someone, or talked to someone, or a solution came to you? If you pay attention, at some point, at some time, your intuition has helped you.
· Finally, you can cultivate your intuition by journaling on a regular basis. Whether it’s recording the significant things in your life, your dreams, plans, and aspirations, or just some of your regular activities you will discover that creativity will enter your writing which is highly intuitive. When you review your logs, you will realize that all of the information did not come from your head!
I believe that if we become more intuitive at the grass roots level, some of the solutions to the stupendous problems we are facing in our world will come through us. The capacity for wisdom, healing, and grace is without measure in each of us! What would happen if we made room for it to break through the surface and explode in our lives?
