The Laws of Life: The Law of Power
Power speaks of the ability or capacity to act or move to action with the accomplishment of intention. Let me start with a caveat; there are two kinds of power. One is tyrannical, with the exploitation of force, use of coercion, and/or striking terror in the hearts and minds of others usually for greed and selfish ambitions. The other is the use of universal principles for the benefit of others and to build and uplift lives. It is the latter form of power to which I am referencing in this article. In fact, I know that everything has opposites…but in all of my writing, speaking, and communications I am referring to the wholesome use of wisdom, never the shadow (opposite). Let’s look at this magnificent Law:
The Law of Power
Alignment + Focus + Effort = Power
This law can be easily explained in the above formula. Following is the breakdown:
· By alignment I am speaking of being attuned with the principles that govern life and the universe and honoring them to bring wholesome and best results. To do this one must become a lifelong student of the principles of life. By alignment, I am also referencing being united in heart, mind, and body by the thread of intention in terms of what is to be accomplished. Being misaligned or divided causes power to dissipate and be lost.
· Focus has refence to sufficiently holding the objective at hand on top of your priority list and as a focal point of mind, which causes multiplication and development in the process of accomplishment. Ideas produce other ideas, strategies give way to more strategies, and momentum is intensified in the process of meeting your objective.
· Effort is considered to be authentic when it is synchronized with alignment and focus. This involves carrying out completely what is desired. This could include the marshalling of resources, enlisting the participation of others, and more. This involves persevering through obstacles, with sacrifice when required, and ceasing only when all objectives are accomplished.
Power as I am referencing in this report always accomplishes something, transforms something, or moves towards something. You always have this powerful law at your disposal for the improvement of yourself, family, community, and the world at large. You only need to recognize and use it.
Have a great week!
