The Laws of Life: The Law of Relationships
Many people enter, struggle with, and tragically end relationships without understanding the laws which govern the context for their existence. This often creates pain and baggage that becomes the nemesis of future relationships…destroying them before they even begin. This law applies to relationships of every kind…romantic, business, friendships, family, community, etc. Consider this:
The Law of Relationships (Part I)
Relationships are sentient entities that are created through the power of mutual agreement. Relationships function best when fulfilling purpose and are either helpful, harmful, or inept. Relationships can be transformed subject to the alignment of intentions of all involved parties.
· The fact that relationships are alive mean that there are requirements for sustaining their life. Without the cultivation of time, care, consideration, effort, and energy…they often die a slow death…leaving people wondering why. Carrying around a corpse is no fun.
· The principle of agreement works best when there is a mutual commitment to outcomes. Agreement is a tool of willing hearts without which there is going to be manipulation, fear via intimidation, domination and victimization which is a death blow to relationships. When there is an alignment of intentions both the essence and outcomes are aesthetic and powerful.
· In order for relationships to be purposeful it requires individuals to understand why thy entered into and are remaining in the relationship. In professional relationships this can be obvious, but much more ambiguous in personal relationships. One should seek to understand the various levels and degrees of relationships for a frame of reference.
In The Law of Relationships (Part II) we will take a deeper look at relational transformation and more. Feel free to reach out with your questions and thoughts at www.rogerckellygroup.com/blog.
