The Laws of Life: The Law of Transformation
By the time you finish reading this newsletter, you will be a different person. The cells in your body are multiplying and dying at a varying rate. Your weight is shifting. Your skin, hair, and appearance are also in a state of constant fluctuation. The pace of your thinking and reasoning, as well as your perspective is changing. This has been occurring your whole life; it’s how you were able to grow from adolescence to adulthood, and explains the differences in your 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s, and beyond. Furthermore, there is nothing you can do about it.
This is described by The Law of Impermanence. The good news is there is a way for you to lead the changes that you can’t control. Welcome to the Law of Transformation:
The Law of Transformation
The Law of Transformation points out the fact that while you cannot stop change, you can lead it! Transformation involves change with your intentionality entered into the equation. Since you must change anyway, you might as well direct it towards improving your life.
· You can influence your body through transformation. There are people in their 80’s who can barely walk (I’m referencing inactivity, not diseases), and there are others the same age who run marathons and practice martial arts. The difference is inserting things like nutrition, exercise, and rest which creates transformation.
· You can influence your person through transformation. While many are declining in multiple ways as they age, others continue to grow. Things like education, exposure to novel things, working on your mindset, learning, and trying new things, can set you on a path to continued development.
· Through The Law of Transformation, you can also influence the outcomes of your life. Your finances, family, relationships, and goals (business and personal) are waiting for your influence. This is linked to personal transformation because you can’t live at a greater level being the same person you were 25 years ago. Your personal transformation is the catalyst for all you want to happen in your life.
You have a choice as we close this year: You can (1) drift along and hope that fate is good for you; or you can (2) Determine how you want to live, who you want to be, and where you want to go and lead change strategically. Thanks for reading…
Grace and Peace,
Roger
