We are excited to announce that Carolyn S. Smith, Esq. has become an Associate Attorney here at Ledbetter Law Group and is heading up our Probate Team. Mrs. Smith started practicing law in Illinois in 2002 and handled various types of civil litigation, including Qui Tam actions and insurance defense. In 2004, she changed course and joined the United States Secret Service as a Special Agent, where she became certified as a federal criminal investigator. In 2022, she joined the Ledbetter Law Group as a probate and trust paralegal and decided to sit for the Florida bar exam in February 2023. A big thank you to local Sarasota County Judge Boehm for making time on her busy calendar to perform the ceremony and making it very special!

Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Amy relocated to Florida in 2005. A graduate of the Rochester Business Institute with a degree in Paralegal Studies, Amy has accumulated over 20 years of experience in various practice areas including Corporate, Estate Planning and Real Estate.
Amy looks forward to joining our team and we are delighted to welcome this very successful professional to Ledbetter Law Group.
