This Week's Upcoming Show

THIS WEEK'S SHOW:
A Roundtable Discussion with Respondek Railroad President, Terry Respondek

This week, on The APRHF Let's Talk Trains Show, the President of the Respondek Railroad Corporation, Terry Respondek, describes how he built his shortline railroads from one engine. Terry also details why he decided to become a railroad executive.

The Respondek Railroad Corporation is predominately a supplier of contract rail car switching services and of short line rail operations. Respondek Railroad is also owner/operator of the Squaw Creek Southern Railroad, a common carrier railroad in southern Indiana.

Besides rail car switching, Respondek Railroad Corp. also has facilities for long and short term storage of both Hazmat and non-hazardous rail cars, along with a shopand equipment to do rail car cleaning, car maintenance and repairs.

Respondek has crews for track inspections and repairs, such as tie and rail replacement, switch repair, etc. and also certified welders for rail cars repairs. The Respondek Railroad Corporation consists of the Illini Terminal, Squaw Creek Southern, and Port Harbor.
