February is Library Lovers Month
We are lucky to have so many library lovers in Wilkes County. One said recently "the Library is a magical place." Our goal is to make library resources accessible to many more people in the county ... and to spread the magic.
Take a minute to look at Appalachian Regional Library’s new link at the bottom of our Library's website (the middle of the 3 squares) that links to our Movie Guide. This service provides a visual experience for finding a movie. You can browse and place a hold on the available movies from the website.
A New Program in the Rose Herring Children's Library!

Is your child starting kindergarten? That means a big change for your family. Bring your child to any of these meetings so that everyone will feel prepared.

The Student Access program allows all public school children to check out books at our Library. Their student ID (lunch number) is all they need. Bonus: no late fees for overdue books. They can also check out ebooks from NC Kids Digital Library by using the Libby App. Any questions? Ask at the Library!
TEEN ESCAPE ROOM FUN!
Lara Jean's letters to all the boys she's loved before should never have been delivered. Yet, here we are. Help Lara Jean escape the letters in this book-themed escape room. This program is for 7th to 12th graders.
