President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta Comes to PHP

Our PHP Special Events Committee has been working hard to identify someone really special to do a talk and lead a discussion on “Current Economic Issues and Outlook”. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Raphael Bostic, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, has agreed to come here and meet with us at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28. The format for the event will be decided closer to the date, but Jack Guynn is talking with Raphael about something other than a traditional talk from a podium — maybe a format where Jack “interviews and questions” Raphael in a less formal “fireside chat” with questions from our members as part of that. As a member of the Fed’s FOMC policy making group, Raphael is right in the middle of economic thinking, and his time with us should be a unique opportunity to hear from someone close to current events and policy discussions. If this is something you think you would like to be part of, you might want to mark your calendar. More to come later. Click here to read more about Dr. Bostic.
