Dear Advocacy Friends,
It is still unknown exactly what format the 2021 New Mexico Legislative Session will take, with the final decision possibly not made until early January. Much depends on how the state is faring with the current pandemic health emergency. As you know, both of this year's special sessions have been closed to in-person public participation.
Whatever the format, your participation and advocacy will be vital in support of our advocacy agenda for 2021. Our friends at the League of Women Voters of New Mexico will be hosting and Advocacy Workshop this Saturday, December 5, from 10 a.m. to noon. You are invited to participate. You will need to register prior to the event and I've included their details below.
Also, please mark Sunday, January 10th, on your calendar. Lutheran Advocacy Ministry - New Mexico will host a Zoom event to outline our 2021 Advocacy Agenda. The event will begin at 3 p.m. The First Session of the 55th Legislature begins at noon on January 19, 2021.
Your servant in Christ,
Kurt Rager
