We were honored to have His Grace Apostolos of Medeia officiate services for our parish feast day of the Holy Ascension. | |

On Sunday, May 21, 2023, Father Christos recognized our graduating high school GOYA seniors who will be moving onto college and were presented with an icon by the Philoptochos President, Mrs. Lea Drivas. Congratulations and good luck to George Binikos, Andreas Socratous, Loucas Georgiou, Christopher Kersul, Maria Lazarou, Irini Statis, (Anthi Kritoulis and Theo Nannas not pictured). | |

Elizabeth Baltzis
Graduated magna cum laude from The College of New Jersey. She received a Bachelor of Science, double majored in Elementary Education and Psychology with a minor in Deaf Studies. Elizabeth will be pursuing a masters in speech language pathology at Montclair State University.

Socrates Bardatsos
Graduated from Rider University. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, double majored in Sports Management and Health Care Management.

Stephanie Fasolas
Graduated from St. Joseph's University. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with double minors in Health Care Ethics and Health Science.

Evdoxia Kontolios
Graduated from Fordham University, the Graduate School of Social Service. She received a Master of Social Work. Evdoxia passed her boards and is a licensed social worker, working as a psychotherapist, mental health therapist.

Sofia Kontolios
Graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University. She received a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a minor in Biology. In the summer, Sofia will begin classes at Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine.

Katerina Poulos
Graduated as a Registered Nurse from Penn State University, School of Nursing. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Women's Studies. She will be taking her exam for her license and will begin working immediately.

Sara Tsugranis
Graduated magna cum laude from Fordham University. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with double minors in Orthodox Christian Studies and Medieval Studies. She is currently working at AHRCNYC, a non-profit agency where she assists people with disabilities to obtain jobs.

Congratulations to our Presbytera Maria for being chosen Mother of the Year 2023. A well deserved honor to a very special mom. Our community wishes Presbytera Maria, Father Christos, and their family all of God's blessings with good health always.

On Mother's Day, May 14, 2023, the Sunday Church School presented poems and songs to all the moms of our community and our GOYAns presented flowers to all the moms. | |
