Happy Easter! I hope that you all had a wonderful celebration, whether you were able to worship in person with us at WPUMC, joined virtually, or were out of town for spring break – my prayer is that you experienced the joy and wonder of celebrating the risen Christ and the hope of new life.
As we bask in the glow of this hope, there can be a sense of “now what?” As we move on from Lenten practices and Easter joy back to the ordinariness of life, we might notice that the world seems pretty much unchanged.
Does Easter make a difference in your life?
This month, we will ask this question each week: How Shall We Live? Now that the lilies have wilted and the trumpets have silenced and the eggs have been hunted . . . how is our life any different? To guide us, we will look at the Epistle of John (1 John) and hope to find insight on life after Easter.
We hope you’ll join us each week, and consider this question deeply for yourself.
Grace and peace,
Rev. Sandi
