Vol. 67 No. 18 ✥ May 6, 2026

May 10, 2026 ❖ The Sixth Sunday of Easter

Lessons: Psalm 66:13-22; 1 Peter 3:13-22

Sermon: "Sustained by Doing Good"

First Peter reminds believers that we are called to set ourselves apart by recognizing Christ as Lord in our lives. In the ancient world of many lords and gods, and even in our culture where many thing vie for our allegiance, we are foremost followers of Jesus. We are called to do good, whatever we may face and be ready always to share the love we have encountered.

Eastertide Sermon Series – Sustained by Resurrection: This season we journey through 1 Peter together to explore what it means to live out our faith in the midst of suffering. Through reading these writings to fledgling churches, we are given a light by which we can survive whatever comes our way, knowing we are sustained by our God.

Anthems:

"Do Not Be Afraid" - Stopford

"A Heart To Serve" - Crescenz

Worship is live on our homepage and YouTube channel at 11:00 a.m.,

We are in need of volunteers for this year's VBS!

Lead teachers, assistant teachers, craft and recreation volunteers,
