UPDATED EL LIST

The updated EL list for MASSA scholars is available on SharePoint under the Rosters folder. Please make sure all EL students attend targeted ELD everyday.
aTSI Professional Development

MASSA has been identified as an aTSI (Additional Targeted Support and Improvement) school based on our SPED population performance data being in the bottom 5% of all Title 1 schools in AZ since last year. To support our SPED scholars, please sign up for PD sessions below:

DETAILS:
  • Split into parts. Sessions for up to 40 participants. Online.
  • All in September. Teachers can pick dates for sessions to complete series.
  • The Differentiation PD series first as this is the foundation needed for Co-Teaching. Differentiation is in 2 parts.
  • Teachers will pick one time from each PD part (4 in total)
  • Staff will be paid for their time taking the PD – This is based on one hour of time for each PD. It will be paid after successful completion of the PD and active participation during the entire PD.

If you have a student you would like to refer to see Ms. Astrid, please complete this referral form. Please do not just send a student to Ms. Astrid's office. If you have a student in crisis, please contact admin and we will proceed with next steps.

COMMUNITY CORNER
MASSA FALL FESTIVAL/TRUNK-OR-TREAT!

DATE: October 27th @5 - 6:30pm

CANDY DRIVE: This is one of our most popular community events of the school year! In preparation, Booster Club is doing a candy drive competition for each homeroom. Each classroom will be provided a bin to collect candy and Booster Club will come by every Friday to pick up.

STAFF PARTICIPATION: The Fall Festival is a mandatory event for staff. Each grade band/cohort decorates a trunk and distributes candy to trick-or-treaters. Please start brainstorming themes as a group!
