IMPORTANT UPDATES/REMINDERS
Benchmark #1 Grade Update

  • Benchmarks will not be entered as a grade for this quarter. We know that with the cumulative nature of the test, students were assessed on many standards that they have not been taught yet this year, and their course grades need to be an accurate reflection of mastery on content aligned with the Unit 1 standards.
  • ELA/Humanities teachers, all written response grading (for both the Writing benchmark and ELA benchmark) is due by Tuesday, October 3rd.
Benchmark #1 Make up Testing

Please see the emails sent to grade-level teams for students for benchmark make-up testing. Please send students at 8:20am to Room 47 with their headphones, QR code and pencil only.
Parent Teacher Conferences

Please email Alicia ASAP if you need a translator for a conference. The schedule with assigned translators will be sent out Wednesday morning.
2 x 2 Conversations

Teachers: Your direct manager will be setting up a 2 x 2 conversation with you in TeachBoost this week or next week. There is pre-work involved (please see the email you will receive from TeachBoost). A 2 x 2 conversation takes place between yourself and your direct manager, in which you will have the opportunity to discuss GLOWS and GROWS for each other.
Quarter 1 Grades

Please make sure you sign up for a grade checkout slot ASAP.
