The LoCastro Report
Thirteenth Edition
February 1, 2020
We have been going, going, going on the campaign trail this month...  and it’s been incredible to meet so many amazing people ALL OVER DISTRICT 1 and beyond!

Here’s just a snapshot of what’s been going on with our energized campaign's efforts to reach ALL CITIZENS & DISCUSS THE ISSUES!

NOTE:  Also, stay tuned for next week's LoCastro Report detailing all the feedback, news, and success we had at this week's East Naples Civic Association Commissioner Candidate Forum… as well as the huge Community Townhall I hosted & moderated at Lely Player's Club in East Naples with multiple CEO leaders from our community!
As an Air Force Academy graduate and mentor to many local students, my focus on Education is paramount. I had another amazing day in Naples visiting our schools… this time discussion & a tour of  Royal Palm Academy . These campus visits & meetings give me the opportunity to learn more about the excellent education options in our community and have informative discussions with school leaders about their achievements and needs… and to also see where I can help as a Commissioner.  Thank you to  Head of School Scott Baier  and his team for a phenomenal day. You have much to be proud of!

The school also has their annual King’s Gala Dinner on Saturday, February 22nd at The Vineyards and I’m honored to have been asked to be the emcee & auctioneer. If you want to help support this impressive school that ensures a five-star education for local students and sends them off to our high schools with an incredible start… join me at this event! You can purchase tickets here:
With Admissions Coordinator Jennifer Scarafile & involved parent & King's Gala Project Officer Lisa Giamarino.

I was honored to attend a  St. Matthew’s House  event at Artis Naples. St. Matthew’s House is an amazing organization employing hundreds of people and helping thousands of Collier County residents fighting hunger, homelessness, addiction, and poverty.

So many of us enjoy the blessings & beauty of our community, but we often forget we have citizens within Collier County who struggle with many life challenges. Thankfully we have an organization who has been leading the charge for years under the incredible leadership of  CEO Vann Ellison  and his team!
Thank you CEO and dear friend Vann Ellison for your ministry!

I also attended an informative Collier County Leaders Meeting with Hispanic Vote of SWFL . Guest speaker Commissioner Penny Taylor (District 4) provided valuable insight into the responsibilities and major decision making required of her position. It was great meeting and talking to Hispanic citizens and supporters about how we can reach voters and best support our Hispanic community!
I love the patriotism that swells when you get a room full of veterans together. That’s exactly what happened at the VFW Golden Gate Post 7721 dinner this month! What an honor to witness it. Florida attorney (and Army veteran)  Harvey Cohen  sponsored the entire event to thank our local veterans for all they’ve done. He also provided free legal advice to anyone still suffering the effects of Hurricane Irma. It was so great to be there celebrating with so many fellow veterans and friends. A special thanks to Mr. Cohen for his generosity and service to our country and community!
Thank you Harvey Cohen and Cohen Law Group for your generosity!
This Martin Luther King, Jr. Day I was proud to march in the Naples MLK parade with my brothers and sisters from the Collier County Republican Executive Committee . That day was all about honoring the man, his dream, and the impact he had on our country. We still have a long way to go, and our party is committed to the same values Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. believed in… equality, community, fairness, and action!

Marsha Warnike.

Last week I joined our community’s finest for “Coffee with a Cop”. These gatherings are such a fantastic way to have meaningful discussions and share our support for our police officers and first responders. Marco Police Chief Tracy Frazzano & her team were there in full-force representing with polish, class, & professionalism. During this upcoming Super Bowl weekend, when you hear announcers talk about "Heroes"… "Courage"… "Sacrifice"… Let’s think about the TRUE heroes & role models who are first responders, healthcare workers, teachers, & our military.

It would be an honor to include you as a campaign investor on our list of citizens who care about our community and who believe Experience Matters. We have had a tremendous response so far, and there's so much we can accomplish when we work together.  Giving back to your community in the form of public service is a great honor but also a huge responsibility. We need the right leaders with experience, proven leadership, and a deep understanding of the issues to serve.

If you want to help PEOPLE… tackle tough problems and SOLVE THEM.

I'm proud of the deep senior military, civilian, and financial expertise I bring to this position for the good of OUR community… I'd appreciate and greatly value your support. Please let me know if there are any questions I can answer. Call me directly at (239) 777-2452 or send me a personal email message at .
