We are going through unique times, but I've never been more encouraged to be rising to this challenge with my fellow Americans and fellow citizens of Collier County!
Having served in the Air Force for 24 years, retiring in 2012 as a full Colonel and running several large military hospitals, as well as Physicians Regional Medical Center here in East Naples, also dealing with anthrax in Washington DC, chemical warfare in Afghanistan and Iraq--let me say--this pandemic is serious.
Yes, local elections are on the horizon, but we know what's important right now.
I will not be knocking on doors or overshadowing our priority—coronavirus education and protection.
Let’s pray for a speedy solution, support our local businesses where we can, be smart about social distancing, and most of all check on each other. I am thankful for the amazing country we live in and pray for those less fortunate.
I’ll still stay connected with you through social media, not only as a County Commissioner candidate, but most importantly as a healthcare professional and community resource connected to all Collier County hospital and emergency response leaders.
As of this morning, this is our Current Situation in Florida:
4,246 total cases
Current Situation in Collier County:
95 total cases
Per the County Commission meeting earlier this week, NCH stated they were the only Collier County hospital with test kits... but they are limited. I know our state and local leaders are working to make more kits available... and I'm working on the issue as well.
I am in direct contact with
, the new NCH CEO… he and his staff are doing amazing work and I've spent time both last week and this week visiting their hospitals. Please let me know if I can assist you in any way if you have issues or needs.
