BLOOMBITES
Hey friends. I really appreciate the responses we’ve gotten for community resources since last week’s email. There’s a lot of ways to get your voice heard about the nation's ongoing pandemic, racial injustices, and inequality. There are organizations being started and technologies being developed, but if you don’t VOTE, it doesn’t matter. Register if you haven’t yet.

Related to tech, local startup Voterfied continues to help connect those running for office hear from their constituents. Listen to CEO Mike Allman on a previous podcast with us. Also, former Executive Director of Startup San Diego Jarrod Russell co-founded VotePlus10 to help make voter education easier.

Another local resource, a new initiative called Village Up , aims to increase diversity and awareness to the San Diego innovation community. You can email here to get involved. Meanwhile, for Black-owned beauty founders, Glossier is awarding grants , which is perfect for a local company like Beauty Bakerie . The Chairman’s Roundtable has also been stepping up during Covid-19 to provide hands on pro-bono mentoring to local companies with over $2 million in revenues to navigate the uncertainty.

Continue to send us resources and we’ll gladly share and shout. See our recent related blog post here .

Stay safe, healthy, and vigilant,
