Don't let the grey weather keep you away this Saturday, the Hollywood Farmers Market will be open and alive with over 45 vendors carrying the late fall bounty that only the Pacific Northwest does best.
Cabbages of all colors, sizes, and textures are in their prime, awaiting a rainy day indoor kraut or kimchi project. Root vegetables seem to keep growing in their variety and size, with celeriac the size of your head, rainbows of potatoes, and fist size radishes from mild to spicy hot.
Joining market for fall and winter season is
Wet Wizard Hot Sauce
, featuring small-batch hot sauce using unique and flavorful peppers paired with local fruit to create spicy, smokey and fruity hot sauce creations. Grab a bag of fresh Pacific oysters from Linda Brand Crab and take yourself straight to the coast. Then top them with a few splashes of Wet Wizard Hot Sauce and you'll have an ocean-farm-orchard flavor delight.
Back for the week are
2 Towns Ciderhouse, Plum Tree Jam, Swarm Portland, and Thomas & Sons Distillery.
This November and December we will have a variety of craft vendors joining market to sell their hand crafted wares. This Saturday
The Dog Bus returns featuring locally produced photography, mixed media art, cards, knitwear, and more.
See you at the market!
