Market News
We've got over a dozen vendors back at market since starting our regular season schedule last week, and with them comes one of our spring favorites! Soils have warmed to 50 degrees, which means asparagus shoots are in from the Columbia River Gorge's Maryhill Fruit Company and South Central Washington's ProFarm Orchards.

Other spring favorites making their debut this Saturday are beautiful flower bouquets from Herr's Family Farm and Deep Roots Farm with bunched chard, kales, radishes and rhubarb.
Time to get ready for Earth Day! This Saturday, representatives from Friends of Trees, Friends of the Columbia Gorge, Urban Forestry, Columbia Slough Watershed Council , and SOLVE will all be at the Hollywood Farmers Market to share information about their Earth Day (Sunday, April 22nd) activities.
Nature's Best-Oregon Honey made their return to market last week and brought with them all sorts of bee related goodies. Stop by their booth to stock up on beeswax candles, a swarm of local honeys, and if you're lucky some fresh honeycomb.
If you are one of our many SNAP customers you may have noticed your match looked a little different last week. We are still matching SNAP up to $10 , but matching funds will now be given in purple SNAP tokens. This means they are no longer restricted to produce and you can use them to buy dairy, bread, salsa and much more! Stop by the token booth to get your match and let us know if you have any questions about the change.
