We made significant changes to the October Group Exercise drop-in schedule to match demand and attendance. Additionally, we have closed our Tot Care services until further notice. Several fitness classes (indoor and outdoor) have been added that require advanced registration.
Tai Chi combines gentle movements, Qigong, meditation and traditional Chinese martial arts. Students of all ages will learn the basic form of Chen Style Tai Chi for health and wellness, as well as the principle and philosophy of Tai Chi. Tai Chi exercise improves circulation, stability and overall health. Instructor Dr. Qin Zeng is a certified Tai Chi instructor and has been teaching Tai Chi since 2014. Class will be held at Des Peres Park.
This class is perfect for individuals who want a great group workout with a personal trainer in an outdoor setting! Exercise bands are the only equipment used in this class. They will be disinfected before and after class. The training sessions will consist of strength and endurance exercises for the whole body.
Gear up for an epic NERF battle in the park! Players will be divided into teams and will rotate through playing team games (capture the flag, protect the king, defend the fort) and practicing target shooting. The afternoon will end in a giant every-player-for-themselves war!
