The Children's Health Foundation for the Foundation's extraordinary contribution to specialized health care and research for children and youth.

Dr. Patrick Whippey, Professor Emeritus Physics and Astronomy,The University of Western Ontario will be honoured for his outstanding contribution to youth science education.

Presentation of The Scientific Journey Pathways to Discovery Student Written Competition Awards.

About Partners in Research

Partners in Research (PIR), a Canadian charity (133065060RR0001) was established in 1988 with the founding mandate to advance understanding and promote support for Health Research. In 2006, PIR expanded its mandate with a focus on the Health and Natural Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics through the Virtual Researcher On Call (VROC.ca) program. This imaginative program is designed to motivate and inspire our youth to pursue an interest and future careers in these fields.

The Virtual Researcher On Call (VROC) is a London Ontario based national educational program of the Canadian charitable organization Partners In Research.VROC is a virtual interactive educational program which connects students in the classroom with researchers/experts through technology.

VROC is partnered with over 23 Universities, Colleges and Research Institutions throughout Canada who permit their researchers to virtually interact with students in the classroom (Grades 5-12).
