This Week at Mount Hope // June 6 - June 12,  2019

Welcome to this week's edition of the LOOP. In this email, you will find everything that's happening over the next few weeks within our Mount Hope Community.
OUT WITH THE OLD // Keys to Living a New Life

If you are a member of the Mount Hope community, you have joined with us as we gather as a church Sundays or at one of the various time during the week. You may have joined us at one of our church locations, or are a part of one of the many groups that meet throughout the Greater Boston area.

But as you gather with others in the church community, have you ever asked yourself why you do so? What is the goal behind our gatherings? Everyone has a reason of their own as to why they come to these events. It may be to listen to some great music, or to listen to a relevant talk, to spend time with friends, or simply because it's something that's always been done.

As we come to the close of this passage in Colossians, Paul addresses this issue and encourages us to do a couple of things every time we come together as a community. Listen in to be encouraged and challenged to live out the biblical standard of community. If you missed last Sunday's sermon, you may listen here.

Mount Hope is committed to bringing the Gospel of Jesus to all people locally and around the world. To do that, we partner with missionaries and organizations that are already working in different parts of the world. We partner with them by praying for them, supporting them financially and with other resources they need.

We are looking for people, families, and community groups at Mount Hope who will commit to pray for our partners. We will send you updates from our partners as you pray for them. If you would like to pray with us, please email Laifong Lee, who leads this ministry.

On Thursday, June 13th from 6-8PM, we will hold our annual all-volunteers meeting in Belmont. It's a great opportunity to appreciate and encourage the many people who serve the church community. Pizza will be served at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.
