Message from Georgian College President and CEO

This month, close to 2,000 students join the alumni family and we’ll mark their incredible achievements at three virtual convocation ceremonies. Aside from balancing studies, work, family and other commitments, these resilient learners persevered during the COVID-19 pandemic and completed their programs – no small feat.
Now, more than ever, we need Georgian graduates. Never before has this been more evident as we face one of the most significant global health and economic challenges in more than a century – with far-reaching implications we have yet to comprehend. We need graduates not only as innovators and professionals who will play a vital role in the recovery and renewal of our economy, but as citizens who will work to improve and strengthen our communities. Each of you will be the leaders who define and influence a better future for us all!
I encourage you to keep connected with your alma mater, especially during this time. Georgian and our Alumni Association is here to support you in whatever ways we can. We also want to hear what you’ve been up to! Share with us your successes, stories and updates. Email alumni@georgiancollege.ca or log on to our exclusive alumni network, GeorgianAlumni.ca.
Sending you and your loved ones warm wishes for the season ahead.
Be safe, stay well, choose kindness and share hope.
MaryLynn
