The Voter Protection Hotline for the Democratic Party of Georgia's Voter Protection Effort is
888-730-5816
.
We need to make sure that the following information is passed along to Voter Protection:
(1) Name of the Voter
(2) Telephone contact information for the Voter
(3) County and Precinct for the Voter
(4) The type of issue the voter experienced.
Please call and pass the information along to Voter Protection if you learn of a voter experiencing an issue voting. The Voter Protection effort in Georgia is staffed with lawyers all over Georgia who stand ready to take action to make sure that the right to vote is protected and make sure that every vote counts.
Voters may also contact 866-OUR-VOTE, which is the nonpartisan Election Protection number for the voter protection efforts staffed by the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law (the "Lawyers' Committee"). (The Lawyers Committee and the DPG Voter Protection group have been doing and continue to do wonderful work to protect voting rights in Georgia during this election season.) The important thing is to make sure that the type of information listed above (voter name, telephone number, precinct, voting issue) is relayed in a timely manner so that action may be taken.
