Oppenheimer is a highly anticipated film by one of our favorite filmmakers, Christopher Nolan. People planning to watch the film might enjoy this 1975 lecture by Richard Feynman about his time at Los Alamos.

Brad McMillan explains why the last quarter was positive on most fronts, which means Fed tightening is likely to continue.

In 1962, Brendon Grimshaw purchased an island in the Indian Ocean for $10,000. As tourism grew in the area, he resisted offers up to $50 million for the island. He died in 2012 and is buried on the island next to his father and two unknown pirates. Today, the island is the world’s smallest National Park.

Q: If rates keep rising, do bonds still make sense?

A: Sam Millette makes a good case for why bonds continue to have a positive outlook in 2023. At some point, the case for bonds is about math. Yields are very attractive relative to a lot of recent history, so long-term investors would do well to consider bonds moving forward.
