The middle of the year is a good time to assess progress on a number of financial matters.



• Are you on pace to maximize retirement plan contributions?
• Do you know what kind of changes you might make to your employee benefits when open enrollment comes in the fall?
• Have you reviewed your personal insurance coverage to make sure it is adequate?

• Joe Sr. and Gladys have a long-running tradition of taking their grandchildren on a trip near their 12^th birthday. This has been a great way to build lasting memories and enjoy some quality time. It’s a tradition we recommend, though of course it can be more or less complex as family circumstances allow. This year they took Danielle Waters on a wonderful trip to Vancouver, BC and Alaska.

• The Caesar Salad turned 100 on the 4^th of July. When it is good, it is so very good.

• Is this recently discovered structure in Crete the labyrinth of legend?

• Is a Tesla Cybertruck really faster than a Porsche 911 while also towing an identical 911? Yes and no. In any event, the Cybertruck is very fast.
