Did you have a great Leap Day? At the last leap day, in 2020, we were starting to get a better sense for what the emerging COVID-19 virus meant for the world.

In 2020, we were looking forward to Joseph III’s participation in the Buchholz High School production of Bye Bye Birdie. On this past Leap Day we watched Millie perform as the evil Milady in the production of Three Musketeers. There are shows through next week if you’d like to attend.

Please keep April 13^th on your radar. We will be hosting our 2^nd Annual Picnic at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Gainesville from 11-2pm. We hope for better weather than last year’s rainy day, and will have a bounce house for the kiddos.

• Even if you haven’t heard of the T.A. Moulton Barn, you may have seen it. It is “the most photographed outbuilding in the world.” Located in Grand Teton National Park, its fame is well-deserved.

• The average person has fewer cousins than their parents, and growing numbers have no cousins at all. This is a large change from previous generations and its effect is still unknown.

• Have you ever swallowed a goldfish? One of the Joes has (it’s a long story). In the 1930’s, swallowing goldfish was a craze among college students. It proves that young people have always had unusual fads.

• Among the more interesting niche careers we have learned about is Jan Glantz’s job as a professional bridesmaid. She earns more than $100k/year, but it definitely isn’t a job for everyone.
