In the next few days, I will be sending the coming attractions for The Luncheon Society for all four cities as we move into latter parts of 2011. Next year will mark our 15th  season and we are going to have some fun with it.  So stay tuned.

 

Most people do not realize that The Luncheon Society has a website. Wander around in it a bit. Here is the address: http://theluncheonsociety.wordpress.com/

 

Now you can have Luncheon Society Notes sent to you via email! Since The Luncheon Society meets roughly 40 times per year, few can attend all of the gatherings. However, notes that detail what was discussed and they are posted online. And hey, it's free.

  • How do I get them? Go to the Luncheon Society website and in the top right hand corner, you will see the "Subscribe" button.
  • Simply add you your email address into the box and you're off to the races. Of course, we do not share your email address with anybody.
  • Also, should you like, we'll list your site along in our TLS member links. Let me know the details and we'll add it to our site.

The Luncheon Society™
Luncheon Societyis a series of private luncheons and dinners that take place in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Manhattan, and now Boston.  We essentially split the costs of gathering and we meet in groups of 20-25 people. Discussions center on politics, art, science, film, culture, and whatever else is on our mind. Think of us as "Adult Drop in Daycare." We've been around since 1997 and we're purposely understated. These gatherings takes place around a large table, where you interact with the main guest and conversation becomes end result.  There are no rules, very little structure, and the gatherings happen when they happen. Join us when you can.
