NEW Agent Locator Features

Are you familiar with our Agent Locator?


Accessible directly from the home page of www.mapfreinsurance.com, this locator enables MAPFRE customers to find and connect with agents in a few easy steps:


1. Customers can search and locate MAPFRE agencies by Zip Code, Street, City or by using the new "Use My Current Location" feature!


2. Upon completing a search, a map will display agents in the area. Once a customer has located an agent, they can click into the Agent Page, which provides valuable information about the agency such as their services and contact information.


Plus: we recently launched a feature that allows customers to submit a contact form to us. Once completed, MAPFRE will email the form to the corresponding agency, enabling the agency to promptly follow-up with the customer.

Our Customer Retention Efforts

At MAPFRE, we’re committed to delivering a customer-focused strategy made for real life. We are proud to share our recent customer communication efforts with you to offer further insight into how we communicate with our valued mutual customers.


These efforts include:


  • Increasing awareness on factors that can impact premiums. To further support customer understanding, we have included infographics on how auto and property rates are determined within customer bills. Additionally, we have worked with our Enterprise Contact Center team to provide training on handling rate-related phone calls.

  • We also include a document within customer bills that focuses on a new topic each month. Topics range from rate change education to value-added programs such as Disappearing Deductible and CAR EZ®.


  • Finally, we are sending a targeted customer-facing email that highlights the unique value MAPFRE offers customers prior to their policy renewal.


  • A Disappearing Deductible pre-renewal digital communication was also recently launched. This customized touchpoint makes customers aware of their accrued Disappearing Deductible as well as the value of this benefit.


As a result of these actions, we are thrilled to have seen a 10 point improvement in customer retention among policyholders who engaged with communications focused on retention.


Reminder: You can help us retain our customers by ensuring we have valid email addresses on file so we can provide these meaningful touchpoints to them!

Sedgwick Home Improvement

We recently partnered with Sedgwick to offer MAPFRE policyholders free access to Sedgwick’s home improvement concierge service for non-claim related home improvement needs. 


Sedgwick will provide support to MAPFRE customers, matching them with a trusted contractor nearby for their home improvement project, monitor the project for quality and timeliness - and guarantee the work with a five-year warranty! 

We are pleased to make this home improvement concierge service available to our valued customers at no cost. Sedgwick can help customers find contractors for:


  • Additions 
  • Bathroom and kitchen remodeling
  • Deck, siding, and roofing replacement
  • Mold remediation
  • Tree and shrub removal

CAR EZ® Made Easier

MAPFRE's CAR EZ® Program is our expedited option that helps take the stress of auto repairs for our valued customers.


We are excited to share that our Repair Shops Locator now makes it easier than ever to help customers find repairs shops in every state where we provide auto insurance.

Highlighting our Massachusetts Agent Resource Site

Since the launch of our newly designed Agent Resources Site (ARS) in August, we have been working diligently to continue to make enhancements to the site.


Through improved search capabilities, we are thrilled to hear that many agents are accessing reports, training materials, and other resources quicker than before. This is an effort that we will continue to focus on, in addition to refining site pages and documents.

Fundación MAPFRE News

MAPFRE Insurance President & CEO Jaime Tamayo congratulated students from Northbridge High School on May 24, 2023 as the winners of the Look Both Ways Road Safety PSA contest.


The contest, sponsored by Fundación MAPFRE and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), was created to give high school students a voice in reaching fellow young drivers with life-saving reminders.


Jaime, along with MassDOT Secretary and CEO Gina Fiandaca, spoke to a packed auditorium of Northbridge students about the importance of safe driving habits and reducing distracted driving.


The winning PSA will be broadcast on television across Massachusetts.

In partnership with the Pan Mass Challenge and independent agents, MAPFRE hosted the 2nd annual Central MA PMC Kids Ride at our Gore Road complex in Webster.


Participants enjoyed various courses, games, a photo booth, and more.

The "TASL (This App Saves Lives)" was named the winner of the Sustainability Mobility category at Fundación MAPFRE's sixth edition of the Social Innovation Awards.


Created by American-based TASL, this smartphone app rewards drivers who put down their phone while behind the wheel with points redeemable as discounts for a number of great brands and restaurants. The app is available in the Apple App Store.
