2025: A Year in Review

2025 was a standout year for the Montgomery Business Association, thanks to the energy and involvement of our members. Throughout the year, the MBA hosted a wide range of events and initiatives designed to support local businesses and foster community connections.

Highlights from 2025 included:

• The MBA Annual General Membership Meeting, bringing members together to review goals and initiatives
• Meet the MBA Board events, providing opportunities for direct connection with leadership
• New email Ad Journals sent to members, businesses, and residents of Montgomery and the surrounding area
• A Social Media and Marketing Workshop offering practical insights to help members grow their businesses
• The MBA Fall Social at Hidden Spring Lavender & Alpaca Farm, combining networking with community spirit
• Welcome Bags packed with special offers sent out to our newest residents
• The 2025 MBA Holiday Party at Beniamino’s Cucina & Pizza, celebrating the season with members while supporting local causes

Help Shape the MBA. Join the Board.

A new MBA Board of Directors will be appointed for 2026. Any MBA member in good standing may become a member-at-large on the MBA Board. Members of the MBA organization for more than 1 year may be eligible for an executive position (President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer) on the MBA Board.

We encourage you to give serious consideration to joining the Board—many hands make light work! The upcoming year promises to be an exciting one with the opening of Montgomery Promenade, more than 20 new businesses expected in town, and several large residential and apartment developments along Route 206 bringing hundreds of new residents to support our local business community.

Board Responsibilities

• Participate in policy development and major decision-making at our bi-monthly Board meetings (currently held the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 7:45 AM).
• Serve actively on one of our committees: Membership, Networking & Events, or Website & Technology. This year, all nominees will be asked to commit to a committee before being voted onto the Board.

Since its founding in 2010, the MBA has become a recognized and effective advocate for both new and established businesses in Montgomery. Serving on the Board is a meaningful way to make an impact while supporting your fellow business owners during this exciting time of growth.
