Oh, the places you’ll go, MCC seniors!

We are proud to share the exciting decisions the members of the Class of 2023 make about their futures. Each student will be displaying their plans beyond graduation. Locations so far include Eastern Florida State College, Florida Institute of Technology, United States Air Force, and University of West Florida.

Accreditation visit delayed

We learned late Monday night that the Florida Catholic Conference postponed our accreditation visit planned for this week.

We will communicate our new visit dates when the FCC provides them to us!

Need-based tuition assistance

The 2023-24 need-based financial aid award letters will soon be mailed to families who completed the FACTS Grant and Aid process. We encourage families who currently receive need-based assistance and have not completed the process to do so as quickly as possible.

March for Life

On Saturday, MCC Students for Life joined thousands of people at the St. Augustine March for Life. “We choose to love them both!” was the theme of this annual event. Students celebrated an outdoor morning Mass with Bishop Pohlmeier. With temperatures in the 40s and gusty winds, the atmosphere was one of solidarity in the common belief that all life is sacred. The day included various speakers, music and ended with a delicious spaghetti dinner from the Knights of Columbus.

PIT Crew in the spotlight

MCC currently has 23 students serving on the Peer Inclusion Team (PIT Crew) this semester. The PIT Crew continues to work with individual students and support all learners in several classes. Members of the John Carroll Catholic High School administrative team recently came to observe our PIT Crew in action. They left inspired by our students' compassion and dedication and were impressed by our school's commitment to inclusion. They hope to start a Peers as Partners in Learning elective and have their own PIT Crew next year.

Girls Soccer Senior Night

The Senior Night celebration was complete with a win against Heritage. We thank Marie D., Haley K., Emily M., Hennessey R., and Sunny S. for their dedication to MCC both on and off the field. Congratulations ladies!
