Much Ado at MPH

Through the talent of the Manlius Pebble Hill Performing Arts department, the fall production of William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing was a modern take on a comedic classic. To learn more about the Upper School play as well as other highlights from MPH, click the link below.
A MEMO FROM NURSE CHRISTINE CIVELLO

Winter illness season has begun. We do not have a large number of students who are ill, our hope is to keep everyone as well as possible.

Please keep your student home if they aren’t feeling well, even if they don’t have a fever. Students must stay home if they have a temperature of 100 degrees or higher or are vomiting.

Please note that students should not return to school until they are fever free for 24 hours, without fever reducing medication. For gastrointestinal illnesses, please do not send your child to school until they have not vomited for 24 hours.

We are all looking forward to time with friends and family as the Holiday season approaches, please help us keep our community as healthy as possible.

Thank you for your partnership and support,
Nurse Christine

FESTIVE FRIDAYS!
Upper School Student Council would like to invite members of the MPH community to take part in Festive Fridays in December.

On Fridays, we’re hoping people will join us in celebrating the season by wearing festive gear (including hats but not pajamas). Examples might be a great ugly sweater, some elf ears, snowflake earrings, you name it! So, deck the halls and don the apparel each Friday this month.
MPH ANNUAL FUND
This year, The MPH Annual Fund has a goal of 91% participation from our MPH families (290 families). With your gift, you are not only supporting students, but also investing in leading edge technology, professional development for faculty and staff, athletics and performing arts offerings, community programs, financial aid and scholarships, student clubs, and campus activities. Each week we will provide an update of where we stand on reaching our goal of $479,000. Currently 24% or 69 families have participated in the campaign for this year. Thank you to all who have joined in.
Upper School Travel Program: Argentina 2024
The Upper School Travel Program will head to Buenos Aires, Argentina!

This travel experience, in collaboration with ACIS, will run from June 16-25, 2024, led by English teacher Jason Zencka. This Spanish language and cultural experience in a major South American capital city will provide a unique opportunity for MPH students to travel, use Spanish language skills, explore a gorgeous city steeped in history and culture, try traditional cuisine, visit a gaucho ranch and even try the Tango!

For more details about the trip, including attending a student interest meeting, please read the email sent on December 1, 2023 here.
