Community Surveys

At MPH, we believe that a strong community is built on open dialogue and a shared commitment to growth. As we reflect on the past year and look ahead to the future, we want to hear directly from you—our families—about your experiences, your insights, and your hopes for the year ahead.

In June, we’ll be reaching out to our community via email with two important annual surveys:

  • For families with students in grades PreK–11: As the 2024–2025 academic year has come to a close, we'll be asking for your reflections on your family’s experience at MPH. Your confidential feedback will inform our planning for the 2025–2026 academic year. Questions will include what we’re doing well, what we could improve, and how likely you are to recommend MPH to others.
  • For parents of our graduating seniors (Grade 12): We’ll also send a tailored survey to gather your thoughts on your family’s overall experience with MPH as your student graduates.

Your feedback is invaluable as we continue to grow and enhance our school community. Thank you for helping us make MPH the best it can be!

Lost & Found: Last Day to Claim is June 6

Reminder from Nurse Christine:

Schedule Physicals Now

Please schedule your student’s yearly physical and necessary vaccinations now to avoid a mad dash in August and September. New students in all grade levels, and current students who will be entering Grades K, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11, are required by New York state to have a physical on file in the Health Office. Athletes need an exam on file that is within 12 months of the start of the season. There are also specific vaccinations required for Grades K, 6, 7, and 12. Please communicate with your child’s health care provider or the school nurse, Christine Civello, if you have any questions about what is due or whether your child will need a physical. Thank you!

Reminder: Check for Ticks

It's that time of year and want to remind our community to be vigilant for ticks. Our health office recommends purchasing a tick spoon for swift tick removal should you spot one on yourself, your student, or pet (see photo of cute puppy Rus - a big fan of the spoon).

Younger students may also find this crossword puzzle useful for identifying ticks and what to do if you see one.

Please reach out to Nurse Christine Civello with any questions you may have.
