Syracuse Mets Welcome
Nearly 200 MPH Fans
And it coincided with the always-eventful Star Wars Night
MPH Family Night at the Syracuse Mets on September 17 was a resounding success, with nearly 200 tickets provided to MPH families for an evening of baseball, Star Wars, rolling around in the fantastic outfield play areas, and ballpark food. Secondary to all of the guaranteed fun was the additional joy of a Mets victory over the Buffalo Bisons, 8-3.
(Still) Wanted! Returning Families to Join Our Team of Parent Ambassadors
Admissions seeks to add to its much-appreciated team

These enthusiastic MPH parents support our Admissions efforts by serving as a resource for prospective and newly enrolled families with shared experiences, information, and guidance as the new and exploring families navigate their first year of enrollment at—or their initial exploration of—MPH. Opportunities to put your experience to good work could include speaking with prospective families either directly (when requested by Admissions) or via the “Chat with Our Community” page on our website; volunteering at campus events—including Admissions events; and volunteering at the “Welcome” table at (future) Back-to-School Picnics. Any parent is welcome to participate in the Parent Ambassador Program, and currently we would particularly love to add to our Lower School ambassador numbers. To volunteer as a Parent Ambassador, simply email [email protected] and let us know you’re interested! Thank you!

PreK Sculpts Scraps Into Collaborative Art
PreK students learned what a sculpture was this week and learned the difference between a 2D object and a 3D object. They also talked about how these scrap pieces of paper can create different lines as, including zig-zag lines, curved lines, and other shapes.

The kids had to fold, glue and place pieces of paper to make a visually interesting piece of art work. All the work was then assembled to create a collaborative sculpture.

Next up, PreK students will be learning more in depth about Lines, 1 of the 7 elements of art.
Brain Building in Grade 2
