Plans and Travel Protocols for the Upcoming February Break
Last evening, the Pandemic Response Team sent a message in which Dave McCusker spoke in detail about yesterday's testing, the upcoming February break, and the status of vaccinations among the MPH employees. Please take particular note of the MPH Phase 2 Travel Protocols outlining MPH’s requirements, which are more stringent than New York State’s requirements, for returning to campus after travel. Thank you for your partnership!

Working on a Loop
Pairs of 8th and 9th graders worked on “loops” in Geometry AC this week using more than 90 vocabulary words, theorems, and postulates. Here's how it works: There are cards containing questions and answers. A student picks one at random and asks the question. Everyone in the group decides on the answer, finds the card with that answer on it, and attaches it to the question card with tape. Then, a new question card is read and the hunt is on for the next answer. If done correctly, all cards will be used and the answer to the last question will be on the first card used, hence the “loop.” Take a look below!

Meet the MPH Spring Social Chair
Many thanks to MPH parent Cobbie Brundin, who is the chairperson of this year's virtual fundraiser, "The MPH Spring Social." Cobbie and her husband, Rhett, have two children at MPH, Lucas '21 and Olyvia '23. Cobbie is well known by many at MPH from the many hours she has spent volunteering in the Campus Shop. She's also been a valuable volunteer of the Gala Committee and a Parents' Association Room Parent. Outside of MPH, Cobbie is a registered dental hygienist who has been practicing since 1993. She works at Dr. Gregory Sweeney’s office in North Syracuse. She is also a fitness instructor and personal trainer at Aspen Athletic Club in Cicero. Cobbie enjoys teaching kickboxing, step, P90x live, and bootcamp classes. She has a crazy Weimaraner and two huge Maine Coon cats, and she loves boating, traveling, and skiing.
The "MPH Spring Social" will be held virtually on April 16. Learn more about the event and how to get involved by visiting the Spring Social webpage. Or contact the Events Office here.
