Learn how issues such as trauma, mental illness and cultural differences affect interactions, and use that knowledge to help encourage cooperation and build trust between police and their communities. This training satisfies POST mandates on these topics.

 

AUDIENCE: Sworn law enforcement and law enforcement affiliates.


INSTRUCTOR: Quantico Police Training instructors have professional backgrounds that include senior leadership positions at Minnesota law enforcement agencies and decades of experience at the FBI.

Maxims and Truths in Supervision


November 21-22, 2022 | St. Paul, MN

 

Not all supervisors are great leaders. This training will help attendees develop their leadership roles by examining the range of problems that arise when supervisors fail to acknowledge and react to problems that may be a result of poor supervision. Attendees will leave the training with the tools to improve their supervisor skills, which leads to stronger teams and agencies.

 

AUDIENCE: Current and aspiring supervisors in law enforcement.

Employee Misconduct and Discipline


December 5-6, 2022 | Virtual

 

This training will give supervisors the tools needed to assess and address employee performance issues and allegations of misconduct. Through lecture, group discussions and case studies, attendees will walk away with the tools needed to respond justly when reacting to negligent behaviors and employee shortcomings.

 

AUDIENCE: Current and aspiring supervisors in law enforcement.

MNJIS Two-Day Basic Operator Training


December 6-7, 2022 | St. Paul, MN

 

This training combines the MNJIS One-Day Basic Operator training with additional specialized training, and is designed for full-access operators who run queries and enters records into the Minnesota and NCIC hot files.

 

AUDIENCE: New or experienced operators who have full-access hot file entry and query job duties. It is recommended that students have direct access exposure to Portals prior to attending the class.

MNJIS One-Day Basic Operator Training


December 13, 2022 | St. Paul, MN

 

This training will cover Criminal Justice Data Communications Network (CJDN) policies and procedures related to access to and dissemination of data. Attendees will gain an understanding of system security, file queries, Criminal History Record Information (CHRI), and the hit confirmation process. An overview of Minnesota and NCIC files will be provided.

 

AUDIENCE: Operators who have limited query only hot files job duties and criminal history checks.
