THIS SUNDAY - Get your petitions notarized!
From the Desk of Chairman Ray Wesley
As we push toward the June 28, 2022 Primary, there is so much to be thankful for, and there is still a great deal of work to do. I would like to reflect on our progress and the challenges that lie ahead.

The GOP Petition Super-Signing Weekend held Feb. 19 and 20th was a huge success. We collected several hundred signatures, talked with other like-minded citizens and listened to their concerns as we prepare for the upcoming Primary and General elections. We are beginning to put our finger on the pulse of the Madison County citizens. It is becoming clear how fed up everyone is with the direction the we are being driven by the current Democratic machine led by Jay Hoffman, Rochelle Crowe and Katie Stuart.

Please join us to have petitions notarized starting at 6 p.m. Sunday, March 6 at the Holiday Inn Express, 1000 Plummer Dr. in Edwardsville. We will also have some candidates' petitions on hand for you to sign.

Precinct Committeepersons and other office seekers can begin filing notarized petitions Monday, March 7 in the Madison County Clerk's office. Petitions must be submitted to the County Clerk by close of business Monday, March 14.

As we approach the petition deadline, I'd like to take this opportunity to update you on the Madison County Judicial Subcircuit issue. While Sangamon County Circuit Judge Ryan Cadigan dismissed the county's challenge to its division into three judicial subcircuits last week, this fight is not over. We are not done. An appeal to the 4th District Appellate Court has been filed to ensure we use every resource available to preserve Democracy in our judicial system.

We have an opportunity this election cycle to stand up and show everyone how united we are in our resolve to take back our State by electing local conservative candidates that will fight for us as we continue to change the landscape for our children and grandchildren. Together we can do just that.

As always, I want to hear from you. Please call me or send me an email if you'd like to include something in an upcoming issue of the Madison Patriot: 618-970-1800 or [email protected].

Most respectfully,

Ray Wesley
