Seçkin Özkul, an assistant professor in the School of Marketing and Innovation and director of the Supply Chain Innovation Lab, was quoted in an ABC Action News story about the state of the economy.


Irene Hurst, director of operations at the USF Center for Analytics and Creativity, was featured in a WalletHub article about credit cards for small business owners.


Carter Morgan, an assistant professor in the School of Marketing and Innovation, published “The Power of a Star Rating: Differential Effects of Customer Rating Formats on Magnitude Perceptions and Consumer Reactions,” in the Journal of Marketing Research


Kerry Myers, an associate professor of instruction at the Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy, contributed as a legal expert in a WalletHub article about full-coverage car insurance. 


Shivendu Shivendu, an associate professor in the School of Information Systems and Management, was featured in a news story on WUSF about affordability in the Tampa Bay region.


Abdallah Musmar, an assistant professor of instruction in the School of Information Systems and Management, was quoted in a FOX-13 Tampa Bay story about a state bill requiring a disclaimer on AI-influenced political ads.

The Corporate Mentor Program at the USF Muma College of Business is accepting applications for the 2024-2025 academic year. The program pairs first-generation college students, in their junior and senior years, with mentors from the Tampa Bay business community.


Students learn about interviewing, corporate culture, networking and how to become leaders in the corporate world.


To qualify, applicants must have a minimum 2.75 GPA, be a business student, and not graduate before spring 2025. The priority deadline is April 8. Apply now.
