MEIA Launches Climate Technology Fund to Support Diverse Founders

MEIA has officially launched the Climate Technology Founders Fund, established through Senate Bill 0960, to empower Maryland-based entrepreneurs developing innovative solutions to combat climate change. This fund prioritizes small-, minority-, women-, and veteran-owned businesses in the climate technology sector, providing critical support to help them scale. 


MEIA is seeking ventures that demonstrate breakthrough technology, strong market potential, and a commitment to driving both climate and economic impact in Maryland. More than just funding, this initiative strengthens the state’s advance energy ecosystem while advancing Maryland’s climate and equity goals.
