Hello Chamber Members,
It’s finally March and I sit here on the first day of the month enjoying the sunshine and nearly 50 degree temps. I look forward to the first blooms and green grass that will bless us this month, but not before we will surely have to endure a few more frigid days. But spring is right around the corner, and that’s enough to warm my spirit!
There are many things to celebrate, and it feels good to finally be able to celebrate together! This month is our annual Community Awards at Abbington Distinctive Banquets. We will be returning to recognize all the achievements from local businesses, residents, and our civic heroes after such a busy 2022. The Glen Ellyn Community Awards is a chance for the community to say thank you to all the generous volunteers, those in public service, and amazing local businesses. Fifteen awards make up the program which are divided between 3 categories: Service, Civic & Business. Tickets are still available, but not for long!
