The Athens Area Community Foundation, United Way of Northeast Georgia, Athens-Clarke County Unified Government, UGA's Office of Service Learning, and UGA's Institute for Nonprofit Organizations have joined together to provide a series of trainings for nonprofit organizations in Northeast Georgia.
Building upon a successful 4-course curriculum in 2017-2018, the collaborative group looks forward to offering 5 new, relevant trainings in 2018-2019 that meet the specific needs of nonprofits in our community.
Specialists from areas in nonprofit development, fundraising, board management and more will leverage their insight and expertise to help organizations build capacity and show impact.
Each training is provided for free, with a suggested donation of $10/organization/training to cover printing costs, coffee, snacks, and any travel costs for trainers. Donations will be taken at the start of each training.

Friday, January 25 – Performance Management with Merle Strangway (The Learning Edge, Inc.)
This Performance Management workshop is designed to provide an overview of the performance management process. Managers learn how to maximize the productivity of their workforce and address performance problems that arise.
Friday, March 15/22 – Two-Day Results Based Accountability Training with Kathy Keeley (Georgia Center for Nonprofits)
After a very popular 1-day session in the Fall, she is back by popular demand to work with nonprofits who are committed to results-based accountability for their programming. Come to this training on Results Based Accountability- a model for identifying and tracking outcomes so you can ensure successful programming and share that information effectively with your donors.
