As part of a goal to honor and interpret the rich history of the stock show site for future generations, the Mayor's Office of the National Western Center has applied to designate the Stadium Arena at 1325 E. 46th Ave. as a Denver landmark. The application was approved by the Landmark Preservation Commission on March 15 and will move to public hearing before Denver City Council on Monday, April 18 at 5:30 pm at the City and County Building. The public is welcome to testify in favor of the designation.
