40 years of loving and supporting children and families-in-crisis across Greene, Christian and Webster counties. Conservatively, Help Give Hope has assisted well over 40,000 children and 15,000 families during the lifetime of our charity. We're proud of those totals and our reach continues to grow, but we measure success not by quantity but by quality. Are we truly bringing hope? Are we making a positive difference in their lives? Does our support help move them in the direction of eventual self-sufficiency?
It is by those standards we evaluate past, current and future decisions and actions.

MEET OUR STAFF
For those who haven't met one or all members of the Help Give Hope staff, or know them only as a voice on the phone, this is for you. GARAGE SALE SEASON IS HERE!
And we’re in pick-up mode!
Our warehouse (2809 N. Cedarbrook) is full and we are ready for our second Friends and Family sale Saturday, May 8th (9am - 1pm). Friends and Family sales not only generate revenue (April's sale brought in over $8,000 in just four hours!) but also creates space, vital for re-stocking.
As always, top quality merchandise at garage sale prices! And we remain in full pick up mode! Just call Murray at 417-209-7027 to arrange pickup.

We truly appreciate any and all donations but we have learned over the years we simply cannot sell or use certain items so please note what we cannot accept…
· Mattresses (for legal reasons)
· Office desks
· Entertainment centers
· Box TVs (flat screens are fine)
· China cabinets
· IMPORTANT: We love donations of appliances but please be accurate with their condition. Appliances are given to families in need. There is nothing worse than giving an appliance that does not work properly. We do not wish to appear presumptuous and we sincerely appreciate each and every donation but when we are unable to sell an item, often we must pay to have it removed. We just wish to be more efficient and cost effective.

HELP GIVE HOPE
The Longest Table 2021
We are excited to announce several changes with The Longest Table.
1) Have moved the date to September 2nd, 2021.
2) Metropolitan Grill will provide food service for the entire event.
3) We are thrilled to announce a special celebrity guest chef for the event. Elizabeth Heiskell is a regular food contributor to the Today Show, Food Network contributor, author of multiple cookbooks and a seasoned caterer, chef and culinary instructor.
Please mark your calendars for September 2, 2021 and The Longest Table.
We are thrilled beyond words that Pat Duran has graciously committed to providing the gourmet experience for The Longest Table. He is the creative culinary mind behind Metropolitan Grill, Retro Metro, Hard Knox BBQ and Great American Taco. At this time the menu has not been set, but experience tells us that he will amaze us with a superb dining experience.
Elizabeth Heiskell is more than just a southern belle chef. She is a hardworking, self-made woman that faces any obstacle or goal head on, with grit and determination. She tells the story of when her husband decided to grow tomatoes, he may have planted a few more than he should have. She worked tirelessly to sell to any vendor who would buy. She also realized it takes a lot of tomatoes to make a Bloody Mary mix. So, she created the highly successful Debutant Farmer Bloody Mary's mix! Elizabeth is a Today Show food contributor, has multiple Food Network appearances and is the author of multiple cookbooks. Her most recent, “Come On Over” is available for sale May 4, 2021. She is an engaging, down-to-earth, entertaining speaker and presenter. We look forward to laughing with her and maybe sharing a cocktail.

CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT
Monday, September 20th, 2021 Twin Oaks CC, 12:30 shotgun start, 3-person scramble.
Overwhelmingly, our players voted to move the event to September. There is no such thing as a guarantee, but traditionally mid to late September is the best golfing weather of the year! So golfers, mark your calendars for Monday, September 20th!
