Coaches Corner ...

Wildcats,

ο»Ώ

Without a doubt the last month has been filled with the thing we love the most, LIVE FOOTBALL. We initiated our spring assessments at the Middle School and recently completed our spring practices at the High School. Without a doubt we are excited about the 2024 Campaign.

Our rising 9th graders are eager, energetic and ready to take the next step toward becoming Friday night stars. Our rising 10-12th Graders have stunned in the weight room, on the field, and in the classroom. We have broken every record on our board, and the sheer volume of strength has stunned each and every college coach who has visited this spring (which has been non-stop).

We concluded our spring practice with a scrimmage against Effingham County, Wildcats winning 28-13. We played 5 quarters, allowing our rising 9th graders to be the stars in the 5th. In front of an amazing home crowd, our players did not disappoint. While some players didn't play as much as others (most of our returning players have been playing varsity ball for 2 years) we were still able to evaluate most everyone in our program.

If you missed it, the Reverse Raffle was a huge success celebrating Wildcat Football. If you missed it, your loss!! Thank you to all who came out and supported our mission. There were a ton of moving parts behind the scenes to make the night happen. BIG THINGS AHEAD IN 2024!!!

Go Cats!!
