Welcome to May! As many of you know, May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to acknowledge the importance of our mental health and well-being, and to reflect on how we can support one another in our community. Your mental health is as important as your physical health, and it's essential that we foster an environment where everyone feels supported and heard. We all have a role to play in creating a workplace that is open, compassionate, and respectful of our colleagues' needs. In this edition of Limelight, we will share some tips on how to make your mental health a priority in the workplace.

In May, we proudly celebrate Employee Appreciation Week, to recognize each and every one of you for the contributions you make to our team.

 Clinicians Week alongside Teacher Appreciation Week, two groups of our workforce who play a vital role in our organization and mission. We are grateful to each and every one of you.

Coming up this month, we also have our Town Hall Meetings on Zoom. We encourage all employees to attend a Town Hall Meeting each time they are offered to stay up to date. More information about these meetings will be found below.

Town Hall Meetings

Due to high participation in the past several meetings and our limitations on Zoom, we ask that each employee only attend one meeting per offering. We will also record one session per offering that we will make available for all staff to access after the meeting.

Run Kayla, Run!

In April, Kayla Boughey and her girlfriend Alison ran did their first ever 5K at Blydenburgh Park in Smithtown. The event, held on National Pet Day, benefitted Last Chance Animal Rescue, where the two got their pup, Seamus. Way to go, Kayla!

Congratulations to Tara Pace and her wife on the birth of their son Lucas, on April 16th, weighing 7 lbs., 13 oz.
