Way to go Concord Township!
To date, Concord Township residents are doing a great job completing their census. But we aren’t done yet and there is still time to submit your information. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Census Bureau has adjusted 2020 operations with response deadlines currently extended to October 31.

Concord Township Fire Department is directly impacted by census response. At the federal level, the census data is used to make decisions on the distribution of funds to agencies. This trickles down to determining the dollar amounts available for federal and state grants specific to the fire service. Concord Township’s population, household and age demographics may determine if the fire department is eligible for a specific grant. Population often dictates how much the department must contribute toward a grant funded project.

You can make a difference that directly impacts your community . Stay safe, social distance and complete your 2020 Census questionnaire online (2020census.gov), by phone (844-330-2020) or by mail.

This is great progress, but our goal is to achieve a 100% head count. Thank you to those households that have already responded. For those who have not, please respond at 2020census.gov or call in 844-330-2020.
