**Special Event** Save the date: Oct 22-23 ~ Overnight trip to Amicalola Falls!
Attention All Hikers!! Mark your calendars for October 22-23 for a beautiful hike to the Hike Inn. Yes! I said October! This particular hike books up quickly.

The easy-to-moderate, five-mile path starting from the top of Amicalola Falls is among the most popular mountain trails in the North Georgia Blue Ridge. And one of its most beautiful and diverse. The two-to-four hour hike crosses small streams, traverses scenic ridges and ambles through stands of mountain laurel and rhododendren. Backpacker magazine included our trail as one of 36 "Best American Hikes" and our Inn is included on National Geographic Traveler's "Stay List."

We will drive to Amicalola Falls in Dawsonville on Sunday, Oct. 22 and hike to the Hike Inn for dinner and to stay the night. Breakfast is served before hiking back to our cars. Please visit www.Hike-Inn.com or call (800-581-8032) for more information. It will cost around $201 for a double room. You can cancel up to 7 days prior. October should be a beautiful time of year and it does book quickly. JoAnne and I have already booked our stay.  We hope you will join us!!  RSVP to  Jean Dole  ( 404-433-5551) or  JoAnn Hammermaster ( 703-581-3085).

Evening Group: Save the date: May 16th!
We will meet on Tuesday, May 16, at 7:00 pm. We will be doing another field trip, this time to Cathy Snyder's new business, The Lash Lounge, in Sandy Springs.  A few of our members have already tried out the eyelash extensions at Lash Lounge and the results are lovely!

Cathy would like a volunteer from our Evening Group to arrive at 5:30 pm to get started on extensions so the rest of the group can watch the tail end of the process when we arrive at 7:00 pm. This service will be gratis, so let me know if you are interested.  First come, first served!

Cathy will also provide three additional complimentary services (lash tint, lash perm and brow tint) to volunteers that each take approximately 30 minutes and will begin after we arrive.

Please let Pat know if you are interested in one of these services!
