A Note From the President
By Sharon Merchant, CEO & President
| | April has been a busy month. Between Project Tango, Scandia Behavioral Health, Tenet, and several other initiatives, I have been kept on my toes. My days have been filled with meetings alongside elected officials and staff leaders, press conferences, negotiations, and plenty of time on the road. All it takes is a few warm days, though, for my thoughts to shift toward planning a summer getaway. I find myself dreaming of scenic hikes and open landscapes in Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming. Maybe this summer, Cam and I will take a road trip out west and spend some time enjoying the cool, fresh mountain air. | | | Executives Association of the Palm Beaches | | In business, it pays to know the right people. TMS knows some of the best people in Palm Beach County! In March, it was our turn to present in the morning and to host this prestigious group in the evening. I got to attend the big executive party at Mom’s office—talk about a crowd to manage! Between guarding the room, making my rounds for scratches, and skillfully scrounging for treats, I was completely exhausted. Of course, I made sure not a single crumb was left behind. You’re welcome. I also made an appearance at a press event for Project Tango. I was on my best behavior (mostly) and got lots of attention—which, let’s be honest, I deserved. There were so many kids there, and I really wanted to give each one a proper lick hello. Somehow, Mom read my mind and shut that down fast with the stink eye. A few nights each week, I hang out with Milo. He’s dreamy. That’s all for now.
