Virtual State of the School Town Hall Meeting - May 6 at 6:00 pm
Please join members of the Board of Trustees, Administration, and Faculty for a Virtual State of the School Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, May 6th from 6:00 – 7:30 pm via Zoom Video Conference . Enjoy connecting with other members of the Richmond Waldorf School community on a zoom call to hear an update on the state of school and have your questions answered. Please stay tuned for another email later in the week with more details about the meeting and how to ask your question in advance.

Enrollment Intentions due Monday, May 4
If you haven't already, please complete the Enrollment step of TADS by next Monday, May 4 . Our school leaders are working hard to adapt our learning environment to a variety of unknown scenarios for the 2020-2021 school year. We know that there is a lot of unknown. We are researching, listening, and adapting and need your help to plan!  

We are not asking for tuition agreements (i.e. payment plans) to be set up but we do hope you will log in to TADS and go through the enrollment steps. You can also contact me via email to request your child's enrollment fee to be deferred, meaning no money is due right now. We appreciate your support and are happy to talk about any questions or concerns you might have!

The Sun Fund: Helping Our Community in a Time of Need
The Sun Fund is a newly created initiative to support the Richmond Waldorf School community during COVID-19 and specifically, to provide emergency tuition assistance for our families for school tuition payments in the current or next school year. We need each other now more than ever before. Many families in our community are suffering, and RWS is committed to helping families in financial crisis due to COVID-19 to continue their Waldorf education!

That’s where the Sun Fund comes in . Help a family, help our school, help our community. This is our chance to come together in this time of great need to ensure that our children continue to be empowered by this amazing Waldorf education.

Welcome Baby Boy Ross!
Please join us in congratulating Jenna Barker, Michael Ross, and new big sister Leila Ross (of the Willow Early Childhood Class) who welcomed Nikolai Travis Ross on April 26th at 9:41 a.m. Nikolai weighed 8 lbs 9 oz and measured 21 inches long. Both mom and baby are doing well!
