Thank you for attending the Town Hall!
Dear RWS Community,

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I would like to extend my thanks to all who were able to attend the virtual Town Hall Meeting last week on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. It was wonderful to have families participate in the Q&A. We hope you went away with a fuller understanding of the state of our school and have renewed energy around your commitment to RWS.

If you have any questions about the content of the Town Hall presentation or the results of the Q&A sent out earlier this week, please be in touch.

Chair, Board of Trustees
Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week continues through May 15
Dear RWS Community,

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week continues this week until this Friday, May 15. Please take a few minutes to share your appreciation in a socially distanced way by sending a note, card, or sentimental gift to our amazing RWS team.

For Administrative Staff, Aftercare Teachers, and Substitute Teachers: Please mail cards, notes of appreciation, or sentimental gifts to the staff member at:

Staff name
Richmond Waldorf School
1301 Robin Hood Rd
Richmond, VA 23227

Please note: Parents are asked not to make any in-person deliveries to the school. Also, many staff are working from home with infrequent visits to the school, so please do not send perishable items by mail.

For Class Teachers and Specialty Teachers, please check with your class representative for details/notes of how these teachers prefer to be contacted, or send notes to the school.

Thank you all for taking some time to share appreciation for our amazing Richmond Waldorf Team!

Summergarden Update
Summergarden was originally scheduled to be take place on June 22 through August 14. Our Early Childhood teachers are looking into the possibility of holding a few weeks of Summergarden in July, and if not, then perhaps August. We still don't know if it's possible, but we'd love to offer something for the community if we can. If you are interested in this possibility, please contact Valerie Hogan so we can keep you apprised of our plans.
